The Property

The cottage is a pretty, detached, traditional stone building which has been fully renovated to provide comfortable two bedroomed accomodation to sleep six people. It is situated on a quiet country lane on the outskirts of a small and friendly village.
The rear garden area has a 9 metre stone threshing circle, which is a great place to relax, read a book, sunbath or BBQ (provided). Because of its elevated position you can enjoy far reaching views of the surrounding countryside. There is also a circular above ground 4.5mt (90cm deep) pool and a toddlers paddling pool.

The Area

The local shop/bar is two minutes walk and provides for all your basic needs.  The town of Ansiao is only five minutes drive and has  a weekly outdoor market on a Saturday morning. Various restaurants in the town offer good food at reasonable prices and of course, children are very welcome.
The cottage is ideally situated for a relaxing break or for exploring the many and varied places of interest to visit in central Portugal.
